Hello, Iam Dr Sai. I stayed at Chilton from 28 March till 30 June 2025. The purpose of my visit was plab 2 and coaching at aspire. This hotel is near to Aspire academy, grocery stores like home bargains and Lidl. The owners of the hotel (Dee & Pam) are very polite people and helps you in every step of your Plab 2 preparation like our parents do back home. Eg: They provided me food for few days before my exam, so that I can concentrate more on studies. Helps with adjusting wifi if you have lovaans classes. There are students for whom Dee & Pam helped with attachments too. Chilton has a study area and mannequin room for Plab 2 students. It is a silent place with little to no noise. Rooms are spacious and tidy. Kitchen is well maintained (much cleaner compared to aspire accommodation). You can save around 5-10 pounds a night compared to academy accomodation. I saved around 450 pounds over my 3 months stay. I felt very lonely during my initial days but Dee always wishes you saying "you okay" whenever he sees me. Pam prepared many delicious Punjabi dishes for me during my stay. They make you feel that you are at home. I passed my exam in first attempt thanks to my parents, study partners and The owners at Chilton. If you are arriving to Blackpool for Plab 2 preparation, I highly recommend Chilton Hotel to you all. It is 2 mins walk to Aspire, 2 mins walk to home bargains, 10 mins walk to Lidl. You will not find a better place to stay in blackpool for Plab 2.
I loved staying at Chilton Hotel! It's close to the academy, which was really convenient. The family who runs the hotel is super nice and helpful. Pam and D were especially great. They also have a mannequins room for practice, which was really useful. I highly recommend Chilton Hotel
The stay at Chilton's was fantastic, the hosts are the best people to stay with, readily availabl, and always happy to help and accommodate. The utilities are all up-to- date and all in all, a great experience that does not poke a hole in your pocket. Highly recommend it.
"This review is only for Doctors who travel to Blackpool for Aspire Academy". The hotel is not so far from the train stations. It is situated right in front of the beach, which is a great location and it's just 5 minutes (by walk) away from the Aspire Academy. The rooms and washrooms are of decent sizes. Very comfortable beds. Pretty clean. They provide you with a (common) kitchen which is pretty big and spacious to cook. They've refrigerator for storing foods and groceries and give you cupboards as well for utensils. They clean your room once in 2 weeks (could be done once a week). The atmosphere is great. Dee & Pam have a great family. They live in the hotel as well. So, the stay is very very safe. They're very helpful towards anyone who stays in their hotel. I got a chance to interact with many Doctors who came there for the same reason and found partners for study and chill. They're very helpful in every possible way. I would like to Thank Dee & Pam and their whole family for making mine and every other doctors stay in Blackpool very comfortable and smooth.
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. I stayed here for my PLAB-2 preparation. Being just three minutes away from Aspire Academy makes preparation much more convenient. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Dee, Pam, and their family were so welcoming.
I spent around six weeks at The Chilton and had a really good experience. The hosts Pam and D were warm and helpful, always available to assist with the help we needed. My room offered a beautiful beach view, and it's just a short walk to the shore. It's also conveniently close to the Aspire Academy I was attending. The room was cozy and they also had a well functioning kitchen and study rooms. I highly recommend it for Plab 2 aspirants.
It's a budget stay. I stayed here for approximately 1 month. The owner is nice & friendly . The family is so welcoming. The kitchen is clean . It so easy to amend the stay if u want extension. A study room, mannequin room and good mannequins. Close to all attractions and grocery stores. They treat you like a family. You can't ask for more! If you are coming here for the PLAB 2 preparation. This place is recommended.
I recently stayed at Chilton hotel for around 8 weeks for my PLAB2 preparation. The place is just a 2 min walk from the aspire academy. Pam and D were super helpful and sweet. They made the place feel like second home to me. The rooms were great.The hotel also has mannequin room to practice and has all types of mannequins. It also has a great reading room and provides convenient kitchen facilities. Loved the place and the people.I would highly recommend this place.
